Bryan joined ICES in 2012. After making some treats for his husband’s coworkers, they encouraged Bryan to take some decorating classes, which led him to ICES. Bryan enjoyed over 20 years of accounting with several large corporations and firms, and has spent the last ten years operating his own accounting firm in Colorado. Bryan is semi-retired from accounting, but excited to be part of the cake decorating world, as a hobbyist and competitor.

Treasurer, Bryan Williams,

A little about our chapter...

The International Cake Exploration Societe (ICES) was founded in 1976. It is now the largest cake decorating and sugar artists club in the world with approximately 2,500 members. There is an annual convention to display beautiful sugar art.  A variety of demonstrations on techniques and methods, both innovative and tried-and-true at beginner through advanced levels are offered. The convention has the very latest in cake decorating products, tools, and supplies from international vendors. There is an opportunity to meet and talk with vendors, professional sugar artists, and authors of books about the confectionery arts.

CO WY ICES began as the Mile High Cake Club in the mid-1960s and became a chapter of ICES in 1977. Our Colorado chapter meets on a quarterly basis. We have "Days of Sharing" three or four times a year. At these events the members meet other decorators, see demonstrations, participate in cake contests and do other hands-on sugar confection activities.

Our sugar art show, Sweet Times in the Rockies, is held annually in conjunction with the Fall Colorado Garden and Home Show at the Colorado Convention Center.

We are always looking for new members who share our passion for cake decorating and sugar art. Our "Days of Sharing" are open to anyone, member of ICES or not.
